Klara is a radio journalist, publicist and communication manager. She is also a trained social pedagogue. She has been active in different student and other groups dealing with current global issues such as precarization, globalization, economic sustainability, women’s rights, migrations, etc. She is a co-editor of two radio shows at Radio Študent, Ljubljana, one of Europe’s oldest alternative radio stations (1969). She has also worked at a non-profit studio prostoRož that is actively engaged in improving public urban spaces and citizen participation. Until 2021, with the philosopher and publicist Katja Čičigoj, she led a feminist seminar that focuses on reading classic feminist works and organizing lectures on modern forms of patriarchy and problems of feminism today. Today, she coordinates the reading group herself. Her articles on women’s rights and urbanism are published in Slovenian magazines and on web platforms such as Dialogi, Razpotja and spol.si.
