Creative laboratory Krater, Ljubljana
Within the YUFU Cikel event, on the 26th of January, the Future 14B performance premiere took place. Future 14B is a living laboratory and experiment of a transdisciplinary group of female researchers, performers, designers and activists, in which they conceive, debate, research and (re)try what Mark Fisher calls effective virtualities.
Lina Akif, Olja Grubić, Ida Hiršenfelder, Tea Hvala, Andrej Koruza, Rok Kranjc, Gaja Mežnarič Osole, Ajda Pistotnik and Metod Zupan are inviting the public to temporarily enter a different, radical, ‘realutopian’ future, based on the principles of interspecies justice, (eco)feminism and adulthood.
During the preparatory meetings, the creative team gradually created speculative artefacts and situations that, as an interactive performance in the making, populated the creative laboratory Krater – a frantic construction cave in the center of Ljubljana.
